A Different Angle for a Fresh Start [5]

 

One day Avariella and Estrielle [yeah, me and you, me first, then you] were walking along the back path to Avariella's house. Well, it turned out that they got ditched because ReAd, Reed, Mac, Seth, ...Ellipsis, and Jerome decided to be 'better people' (or at least better to each other) by spending 'quality time' together by 'camping out.' Avariella has a secret theory to what they really were doing. They were 'camping out' in the treehouse, right in front of ...Ellipsis/ReAd's house. But secretly everyone knew [which doesn't make it a secret...AT ALL] that the boys were 'secretly' watching football. Yeah mon. So Estrielle and Avariella decided to just let them be. Even though it was sort of rude because Estrielle and Avariella 'watch' football. [Ahem, more like do whatever the other's are doing]. In the end, Estrielle and Avariella had to leave. As in: force-ably; required. So Estrielle and Avariella were determined to be shallow and try to make the boy's jealous of the girl's. Which is sort of easy, I guess. So, they set off on an adventure. All they could really say was that walking on the back path was the beginning. Of something. Of anything. It had to be the beginning of something because if it wasn't, what could they possibly tell the boy's? That they knew they were secretly having a guy's night to watch football? Lame-ish. [Even though Reed and Jerome and well...all of them really, were as lame as you could ask for. Or get. Basically.].

So I guess it's what they just had to do. To stick to it. Or make it up as they went along. Yep, that's what they usually did. Avariella and Estrielle were walking. Talking about how boring the game would be anyways, and how they were going to do amazing stuff.

Estrielle then said, "Uhm. Wait. We can't possibly do girly stuff because what boy would care about that? And another thing, there is just too many of them! Not including Jorge or Marcos. They don't count. They never really should have counted. Well, they did in the beginning but I'm not talking about the past. I'm talking about the present, you know? Live in the moment type-stuff. And to be honest? I'm OVER with all of them. You know?"
"Yeah, we are," Avariella agreed, "but we are just amazing so they will just be jealous. Besides, Jerome is a mermaid and Reed is a faerie, Mac is less cheesy as his name implies, and Seth is awkward. Plus, ReAd and Reed are hard to keep up with their names. I know, lets call Reed "Reed" and ReAd "Re-ad" Like ad as in newspaper ad. Get it? Don't worry, I stole it from you. :) And ReAd is too... 'typical-guy-thing-to-do' type of person. And ever noticed how ...Ellipsis is way more cheesy then Mac? Weird, right? [Even though ...Ellipsis has a quiet presense, man he says stuff like, wow Mac thats very cheesy of you. Very Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese of you!][Mac is from Wisconsin. Starting [more like declared] now.]."

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Estrielle cried, "That is the closest to the truth then ever before! Man, instead of an adventure, we just need... new people."

This came as a shock as the words "New People" escaped Estrielle's mouth. No, Estrielle was not unfriending Avariella, nor was she breaking up with ReAd because then he would become another imaginary ex. The only reason New People were a shocker was because it was new people, as in, new people.
"So you're saying....ROAD TRIP!" Avariella screamed, because, who wouldn't scream with excitment. This Road Trip was going to be the best of the best if not better. With that, they raced down the hill.

Little did they know that Reed, ReAd, Jerome, Seth, Mac, and ...Ellipsis had sent spies. Finn, Spongebob, and Timmy Turner. Finn, Spongebob, and Timmy Turner were sent to make sure that the girls got home safely and that they did not try to spy on the guys to see what they were really doing which was shopping while watching the football game. So, Finn, Spongebob, and Timmy Turner ran all the way to OrChard Outdoorsy Mall to tell Reed, ReAd, Jerome, Seth, Mac, and ...Ellipsis that the girl's were Over with them. As soon as the boys found out, they raced to the front of the line at the store, only to be yelled at and taken away by security gaurds [after all, it is black friday [you know, big sales and all.]].

Estrielle and Avariella reached Avariella's house first, so Estrielle helped her pack. They packed everything. As in ...everything. [As in they packed what they packed and stuff] and then headed to Estrielle's house to pack. Of course, as they left Avariella screamed Bye! then left because afterall, it's an adventure they were going on.

Estrielle's parents didn't mind, they just said, "I want something good for Hannukah!"
Then, Estrielle and Avariella stood in Estrielle's kitchen. They stood for several minutes, and then they sat.
"It's like a dream. Just imagine us getting past the packing part, and we are sitting in a kitchen, not knowing what to do next, OH WAIT, it's reality! What do we do next?" Estrielle asked.
"Duh! What we always do! Catch a bus, or no...we rent a bus or a car and then hire some driver dude to take us!" Avariella answered as if it were obvious. This made them laugh even though it was not funny. At all.
So they decided to catch a bus. They waited at the bus stop and after 5 minutes of waiting, they burst into laughter as the thoughts came to mind: why are we doing this? Where is the bus? I'm bored! As if they were reading each other's thoughts, they broke out into song. "We welcome winter's wind, the color's of our bones will you collect me and compound? And clear your mind before the ground gets cold, Embers in air [I know it's hard when you're alone], the wind in your hair, if you were a snowflake, impossibly I'd be the same shape as you, Spilled coffee in the mornings you still adore me, and that's what I love about the cold nights." The idea that they both had been so in-sync was crazy and made them break into hard, hysterical laughter. Of course, everyone stared. Who wouldn't? I would stare too! Then before they caused too much of a disruption from insane laughter, the bus pulled up and they got on. The idea's that some people had, floated onto their facial expression and you could tell that they were praying the girl's would get off soon but only Avariella and Estrielle could determine when they got off of the bus! Luckily, they chose to behave themselves. Afterall, if Avariella and Estrielle bothered everyone on the bus, the bus driver would have to kick them off and no one knew when each person would be getting off. All Avariella and Estrielle knew was they would be sitting there for a while, then find a place to stay, get back on the bus in the morning and continue their trip to who knows where? It was officially, the start of the Awesmazing Adventure.

He's just...NOT. [4.5]

To begin: There will be new changes and such. I hope you like them. The new changes are new characters who will add a new flavor to the series. The flavor being mint: a serious flavor. But if the changes don't work then expect the same route and I will write a different series with those characters so that their world still...all makes sense and is in place and stuff.

I feel as if the posts that I have put up are really horrible. Because they are. I mean, horrible as in Language Arts teacher would flip if she saw the amount of unrealistical-ness and horrible spelling and grammar, ect. In order to try to go down the 'Middle Path' I am going to take a new route back to the old path. Or...well, the middle path between the two different themes. [The two themes being, Serious and Extremely Sarcastically Unrealistically Silly].

ONE MORE THING YOU NEED TO KNOW! The new changes won't be drastic! They will include important things such as instead of listing off everything, it is more of a story! With a plot [sorta] and all of that book stuff! I could never write a book. But I can certainly write in a blog. :)

These upcoming posts will take longer then the others to make and post on my blog so please be patient! And also, I believe Leezie Dee is going to create a spin-off from one of my previous posts so enjoy!

This is…only, just barely, the beginning [4]

The following days of to come were such a blur. Half the time, everyone was huddled by a fire, about to sleep, actually sleeping, eating, or just having fun. After all, it was Winter in Colorado. The blizzard finally hit Colorado, and although the parents dreaded it, the kids loved it. It meant snow day. Possibly days. So Estrielle and Avariella decided to hang out at one of their usual spots: the tree house. The tree house in which belonged to their little group of friends, no matter who was mad at each other. [Usually it was mostly Jerome, Jorge, and Reed who would be mad at each other]. But nonetheless, it was still the big hangout. It started last summer, when the tree house was first built. It was around the same time Estree moved to town. She gave everyone a whole new perspective. In fact, the year the tree house was built in the park, it was a secret between all of them. Even the neighborhood kids who hung out at that park every single day, didn't have as much fun as Estree and Ava did. They ran around that park like maniacs, went to King Soopers/ Subway/ Wendy's/ the gas station. Plus, the library. All of it was like their one great big domain. And that taught everyone the greatness of having summer friends. Of course, Estrielle and Ava, Reed and Jerome, Jorge and Marcos, Finn, Timmy Turner, SpongeBob, ReAd, ...Ellipsis, Mac, and Seth all had other lives that didn't revolve around each other. Reed and Jerome, although they were certainly jealous of each other and competing for Estree's heart, they always managed to still be friends with each other when it all broke down.


    Estrielle. She changes people. Turns you into an outgoing, smart, rebel, freak. Yeah, freak is a compliment. She changed everyone she met. And in turn, there was always an exchange. Which is why all friendships start out great. The ones who give back in return, those are the keepers [not just talking about boyfriend and girlfriend, for this can apply to all friends]. Everyone grew closer. Learned, loved, and most definitely had fun. And by loved, I mean, we grew up as a sort of awkward family.

On an average snow day, they would all go up to the tree house and hang out. Then they glided down the hill on their bikes, to Ava's house because they took the secret pathway known as Africa. When they got to her house, they played videogames, wrote songs, did stuff for their band, wrote stories, and played Tetris. Then they went up to the library and played hide and seek. Then they went back down to the house to make a video. Then they went back up to the park to meet Marcos. Then they all went to King Soopers. Yeah. It was chillax day, and it felt like summer with a slight breeze, even though it was only November, and about an hour before, it had been a blizzard. Well, I guess that's Colorado for you. And that was really when it all began. Yes, things happened over the summer, but now it was all being put to the test to see if Marcos, Estree, and Ava could stay friends. Even if they did go to different schools, and sort of didn't live by each other. And possibly different ages xD , none of that mattered until now. Well, it did matter, but it was just cooler to say that this was just barely the beginning.

When I said, “The end doesn’t exist,” [the end.] [3]

Don't you see? The end doesn't exist because this story is so amazing. So, Estrielle went to dinner at Taco Ball. It was quite the amazing dinner, after all, it was Taco Ball. But all Read and Estree ate was pizza, because they couldn't read the rest of the menu, because it was in Spanish. Luckily, Estrielle had her snazzy little instant-Google-translator at hand so she could easily read what toppings she wanted on the pizza. As a sort of entrée, Read managed to have Taco Ball serve pudding and pizza flavored goldfish. Then they left and walked home. And Read said he knew a short cut. Estrielle was utterly confused, especially since he said that he knew a shortcut. Hadn't he just gotten here today? How could he possibly know a shortcut? He's going to get us lost! Gr... thought Estree.


So they walked. And walked. And walked. And finally he stopped walking. And simply sat on the concrete trail pathway thing. Estrielle, who was wearing a very non-too-expensive dress, just stood there. He patted the concrete right next to him, indicating where she should sit. Estree just sighed, and started up the way they had come, except now the pathway was a little too dark for seeing. Simply Read called back, "Wait, come back here. You can sit on my coat. I want to show you something." So Estrielle trudged back, nearly tripping on a stick. This night was not at all what she thought it would be. Why did I wear flip flops? Oh, that's right, Ava said that it'd be cool and look good. Why did I ever listen to Avariella? She's the one who just left …Ellipsis. She's such a goofball, thought Estree. This thought made everyone smile.


Sitting by Read in the dark might seem cool, or mysterious. But somehow it appeared down-right creepy. And then slowly it became less creepy as her eyes adjusted to the light. Then Read said, "I have a gift for you, but its best looked at under the beautiful night sky in a natural environment. This was the first place I found on Google Maps that led me to your house, and was in a natural-er area."


    Estrielle didn't know what to say to all that. At first she wondered what the gift was. Then she questioned what kind of gift looked best under the night sky, then she thought how nerdy Read is to go on Google Maps but that was why she liked him [sorta]. So Estree didn't say anything at all and waited and waited. Finally Read pulled out of his pocket, a single piece of candy. She was utterly confused, as everyone should be. Then he stood up and helped Estrielle up. He didn't say a word, but led her down the path back to her house. She never opened the gift, and Read never asked her to. When they got back, Read said that she must have a good night, and that he would see her tomorrow.


She walked into the door, carrying her flip flops. She chucked them onto the ground, threw her coat on the couch and started to ballerina dance/ break dance/ salsa, all the way to her bedroom. But first she had to update her status. So, as always, she came up with something clever. Almost as non-clever as Clever Bot. [Don't worry, if you don't think about it, it makes sense. And if it still doesn't make sense: Clever Bot is not clever. Being non-clever as a not-clever Clever-Bot is brilliant, basically saying, she's clever]. So she wrote: Surprise visit, silly friend, had a ball, walk down mystic-y trail, and a single candy bar, Oh my! Then she went back outside to her backyard, laid on her trampoline in jeans and a sweatshirt, and stared up at the clear night sky. She finally opened the candy bar to see that there was no candy, but a bracelet. A bracelet with little charms. And there were only 5 charms on the bracelet. They portrayed: a moon, one with the words hahaha, one that said Estrielle, one with a music note, and one with a heart.


A folded up piece of paper was also in where the candy bar should've been. It read: the moon for your dreams, because you are a dreamer, 'hahaha' for your silly-ness and your silly friends [*cough* *cough* *Avariella* *cough* *cough* *the rest of Estree's friendsJ*], 'Estrielle' so that you never lose the bracelet, and that if you ever do, they can return it to you, a music note for your love of music, a heart for me and you, and so that you always stay true to yourself!:) –Read


    Estrielle just smiled. Then listened to her MP3 player and fell asleep. Then the next thing she knew, she was in her bed, listening to Blizzard of '89, and there was extreme snow outside. Today was definitely a snow day. It was so Colorado of the weather. Even though it was only the beginning of the last month in Fall. So Avariella, Estrielle, …Ellipsis, and Read went ice skating, got hot chocolate, had a snowball fight, made the ultimate snow forts, and snow angels. Then went to King Soopers and performed their cover of Those Songs [wink wink]. Exhausted, they went and saw a movie. No, they went and saw the ultimate best movie that they could've ever imagined, with Narwhals, guy tripping to Alaska ;) , playing hide-and-seek in a library. Funnier thing, they ran into Marcos and his girlfriend. Then they all left and had yet another snowball fight. Then they jumped into a pool, fully dressed in boots, snow coat, gloves, hats, and scarves. But the most amazing part, was when a narwhal swam with them. Then they all dried off with those portable-mini fans that you take on road trips in the summer. Then they went to target. Yeah. Target, man. And then they all went bowling because they were all still 'slightly' wet from jumping into a pool and stuff. It was a great day. And it was barely December yet. In fact, I think it was…around November. Well, I guess that's Colorado for you. But honestly? Winter would be a wonderland in the Midwest.


FYI: Yeah, I think I skipped Fall and half of Summer. But maybe the story should just begin in a new scenery. Comment if you think I should write what happened in the Fall and rest of Summer. Unless it makes sense that it was always during the Winter that this whole thing happened. Well, either way, pretend its winter.

When I said, "The end doesn't exist. [The end]." What I am really trying to explain is that the transition just sort of happens between Summer, Fall, and Winter. Except we are mostly still in Fall when this part of the story happens. But we talk about winter because Fall didn't really happen, there's no extreme seasonal thing for Fall except for the leaves, so all you have to say is that it feels like winter/seasonal spirit already! I hope this clears this all up!

Or, to avoid writing about what happened in the beginning of Fall and Summer, I could just say, Nothing truly happened. They were all too busy with school. [Do good in school!]

The Story…Continued(1)

This is the story…Continued. [Dedicated to Estree because I would not be telling this make believe story if I had never met you!]


Once. Upon. A. Time. Read and …Ellipsis followed us back to Colorado. In a non-stalker-ish way. And yeah, it TOTALLY was surprising because how many guy's do you know that follow you in a non-stalkerish way?! None. Except for Read and …Ellipsis. Once Read and …Ellipsis got there, they rented an apartment between Estree and Ava's house. Soon it would become the meeting spot for them. I guess. So then …Ellipsis and Read told Estrielle and Avariella to go for dinner. And when they had called they were all, "Dinner, I'll pick you up at Estrielle's house. Be ready by 5?" Of course Estrielle and Avariella were completely clueless. So they just agreed. In fact, when Read and …Ellipsis called, the message sounded anonymous. As if they had a secret admirer [wink wink]. So the girl's got all dressed up, in dresses. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. AND WAITED. They began to get bored, so they started messing around. They ate popsicles, played with chalk, jumped rope, and eventually even began to garden the dirt. Finally, at let's say, 7:30, the boys showed up. And what a surprise it was. It wasn't like they weren't happy or excited, or that they were sad. But it was just…shock. Shock spoke their words, written on their faces. And all the boy's did was grin. But not one of those, "wow, how…girls of them, funny" grins, one of those "heck yeah we caught them off guard grins!" SO yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. And then Jorge showed up. Said Hi. Ran off with Tony to be nerds. It was just a….nerd day. Yeah. It was just a nerd day. For them anyways. SO, then then then then then…. Ava was like "Oh," So she just went back home to do chores and homework. Avariella was all "GOSH" and then Estrielle was all "Geez" AND …Ellipsis was all "Fine. See you tomorrow, but but but,,,,,, you should..uh…yah..you should totally…like….ok…bye"

And Mac, he helped Ava clean up. Not really. More like he just sat on her computer. But then she kicked him out and said that …Ellipsis was in town and then she got onto her computer. And then Estree was all "Soo…" and Read was all "Yep…so you would like to go to dinner?" Estrielle just blushed, so they piggy-backed all the way across the street to Taco Ball. It was like Taco Bell, but only Taco Ball was fancy. By the end of the day. The end. As in Estree and Read lived [sort of] happily ever after!

Hi! I'm 'Avariella'. I put it in quotes because I refer to myself as Avariella. I like to write stories. And I'm a pretty studious person. And I love music, reading, and just having fun! I have awesome friends and family! I was inspired by my best friend, Estrielle [BESTIE FRIEND!] and the author of my favorite series: Alyxandra Harvey [READ HER BOOKS! YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE! *Ahem. Drake Chronicles!* ]

    I'm giving you the 'Prologue' to the story! Yay! Well, actually, I am just telling you everything you need to know! If I were to give you the stories from the very beginning, I would have to dig deep through about a million text messages to find the 56 text messages with the original first story in it.



    What You'll Need To Know: These stories are about Estrielle and I. Estrielle is one of my best friends! She's random, hilarious, smart, and talented! She likes random stuff. So do I. Also, we have a friend named Marcos. He's sort of odd but he's really cool, he's random and there might be some inside stuff that I add. Just for humor. And there is a friend of Estrielle's, his name is Jorge. Estrielle and him went to a dance. And when the song single ladies by Beyonce came on, he put a ring on her [sorry if this is embarrassing, Estree]. Estrielle has many nicknames like Estree, Tree, Elle, Trielle. Estrielle's full name is: Estrielle Amie Reith. Estree nicknamed me: Avariella Flawfita [Fahita] Ritzana. Yeah. But don't worry, those aren't our real names, those are our character names.
    This story is about Estrielle, her friend Avariella and their crazy adventures. Plus, Estrielle's crazy (sometimes) imaginary boyfriends/exes -- Reed, Jorge, Marcos, Finn [from Adventure Time], and Jerome. Also, there is Timmy Turner and Spongebob Squarepants. They are her crazy ex boyfriends. Well, Marcos and Jorge are real but only Marcos isn't crazy, he is just random, annoying, and fun. Jorge is...awkward. Finn [Adventure Time], Timmy Turner [Fairly Oddparents], and Spongebob Squarepants [Spongebob Squarepants] can be expected to have the personalities that they were created to have by the people of Nickelodeon. Often times, Timmy and Spongebob will not be in the stories because they are busy being famous tv stars! Not that Finn isn't busy either but Finn is special.
     Avariella's [imaginary] exes: Seth and Mac And Cheese.
     In the latest story Avariella and Estrielle went on a road trip, to California [I guess] and met ReAd [like Reed (Estrielle's latest ex) except the opposite], and …Ellipsis [Avariella's boyfriend].
    …Ellipsis got named because the 'dot, dot, dot' has an actual name. Which is ellipsis. ...Ellipsis lives with ReAd. ReAd is quite average compared to ReEd.
    ReEd is very girly. Had a narwhal [in one story]. And is now a faerie. Jerome had a unicorn. A very lame unicorn, might I add. And is a mermaid. That happened because in the first story of this series, Reed and Jerome had a major crushes on Estrielle. They still do, but now they are nice to each other. You see, back then, both boys were always constantly competing to see who could win Estree's heart. It was such a playful, twisted and confusing land that somehow ReEd had a narwhal and Jerome had a unicorn. It was like a 3-D version of CandyLand, each boy playing to see who can reach the end, or in this case, Estree's heart, first. They competed over silly things, stupid things, and sometimes dangerous things. At the final battle between the two, both tried to impress while still defeating each other. Well, Reed won because narwhal's can travel anywhere and unicorns can only walk on rainbows. At the end of that story, Jerome got pushed into the narwhal pit where Reed's narwhal's were training in the water and Jerome got turned into a mermaid because of it. The resolution was probably when Jerome had to figure out how to get home. Somehow I think he became like those girls on H20: Just Add Water, so yep. And Reed, being the good guy out of the two, had to check on Jerome. Well, he jumped into the narwhal pit but the narwhal's could only turn one person into a mermaid per day so he got thrown into the unicorn rainbow track and fell but grew wings to save himself since he was so good, which is how he became a faerie. The end...of that story.

 
    Jorge was always tripping to Alaska. Always. It began when Reed and Jerome managed to get eaten by a narwhal [it wasn't pleasant getting them out]. And Fin ended up with Estree. Finn was never a bad guy, a jealous guy. He was just that fun shy guy. A nice guy. After Estree and Finn broke up, he was just sort of…there, just like Marcos. Except Marcos only pops in once and a while.
    Mac And Cheese was very cheesy and awkward. Yeah, super awkward. And he was like…Reed's secret brother twin. So they were alike in many many ways. They found that out when Mac And Cheese and Reed hung out one day. That was a weird day.
